I am very lucky to have Dr. Allison Young as my ophthalmologist. I am 75 years old have very mild cataracts for many years there has been no changes in my cataracts. Dr. Young provides the most professional advice and the lastest accurate progress of my eyes and teaches me how to care and maintain the health of my eyes. This was my third visit to the Stone Oak Ophthalmology Center where I met with Dr. Waters. Dr. Waters and her staff were very efficient, investigated the issues I came in with, and I found I won't need surgery for my cataracts for (hopefully) many years in the future. Dr. Young and her staff are friendly, nice and helpful. I had an extensive eye exam and need to have cataracts removed from both eyes. Dr. Young was extremely friendly, caring and very detailed in explaining the process, and she gave me information to read and a video to watch explaining the procedure. She said, if I had any questions write them down to go over with Gina when she calls to go over everything with me before the surgery. Gina contacted me very quickly and we made an appointment that day. I would refer my family and friends to office. More

I've been a Patient of Stone Oak Ophthalmology and Dr Allison Young for a number of years. I have always been treated with promptness and respect. I am a diabetic and my exam is much more than just checking my vision. Dr. Young is a great surgeon, and I have had cataracts removed and corrective lenses in both eyes. My husband goes to Dr. Allison Young. and suggested I see her for my bad eyesight and diminishing night driving. I knew I had cataracts, but didn't know they were as bad as I thought. I got in quickly for surgery for the first eye, and now I can see everything clearly. I see details and colors that had faded. Dr. Young also cares about her patients and her work. So thankful that I found Dr Young. After going to another doctor for the past 4 years and continuously being told that I was not ready for cataract surgery even though I was no longer able to drive , I felt that another opinion was in order so I went to see Dr Young. This was in December and by the 1st of February both of my cataracts had been removed and I could see again. She is a wonderful doctor and her office staff are excellent.
