I was impressed with the friendliness of the front desk person. Than I waited to be taken back only about 10-15 minutes. Then the technician was very efficient and seemed to know her job well. Then off to the Photo Booth, the guys running the photography area were grea, also efficient. Lastly, Dr Waters; she was great. Efficient, worked hard to make sure I understood the surgery, she also took the time to answer my questions. She had been highly recommended by a friend who also has surgery with Dr Waters. Next step- the surgery. I trust my team and I am Feeling positive about the next step to better vision. More

.Dr. Jana Waters performed the annual eye exam. It included very detailed procedures to evaluate how my eyes were doing after having cataract surgery in both eyes. Dr. Waters thoroughly reviewed all the results as well as performing an examination of both eyes after which she explained the results in a clear, concise and courteous/friendly manner. The staff was also very courteous and professional. Just an exceptional experience from a group of dedicated professionals. More

After initial screening by staff members and the examination by Dr. Waters, I was informed that my vision was excellent. My spouse disagreed with the diagnosis. I was in and out within 15-20 minutes. The staff was friendly and Dr. Waters was both informative and methodical as she worked. I did have some fun with one of the assistant staff members when she asked me to read the smallest line I could read on the page presented to me. When I replied “20/20” (that was on the very bottom) she immediately said she wanted for me to read the letters. After telling her what they were we both got a chuckle out of it. I judge all specialists the same way. Above all are they competent? Are they able to explain things to the patient? Lastly, do they communicate to the patient that they are seen as a person with very personal concerns about their condition? Some of my specialists are good, some are bad, but my ophthalmologist is first rate. More

I was a new patient of Dr. Waters. My entire experience with the visit was excellent. The receptionist, medical assistant, technician that tested my vision, technician that photographed my optic nerve were exceptionally nice. Dr. Waters was very thorough, friendly and a good listener. I never felt rushed. The office is efficient so I didn’t have to wait long to be seen and treated. I am glad I am a patient of Dr. Waters for she is a tribute to her profession!! More

This was my third visit to the Stone Oak Ophthalmology Center where I met with Dr. Waters. Dr. Waters and her staff were very efficient, investigated the issues I came in with, and I found I won't need surgery for my cataracts for (hopefully) many years in the future. I had a 9:20 appointment, but I had other errands in the area which went faster than expected. I arrived at Dr Waters' office at least 30-45 minutes early. After checking in with the receptionist, I sat down to read my incoming emails. I wasn't able to open the first email, when the tech called my name. After the normal reading of lines at various distances, dilating my eyes, etc, the tech led me to Dr Waters' exam room. What a joy to interact with her. She answered all my questions and then she performed her exam. All was a great experience. I was home about the time my appointment was to begin. I only wish I could find other physicians like Dr Waters. More

I was recommended to see Dr. Allison Young but her schedule was full and could not see her til April….i was disappointed because my husband and I needed to be seen quicker than 4 months so we were told that Dr Waters was available …i was hesitant but agreed.
