Dr Young is very caring and takes time to explain what she sees during and after her exam. She has given me glasses that really help with my double vision, and she did a great job with my cataract surgery. Watch her YouTube video on it! Dr Young is absolutely wonderful. Thorough testing by staff followed exam by Dr Young who was very thorough. After eye exam, she explained what she saw and results of other tests like eye pressure, etc.; she was never rushed with my visit. I will need cataract surgery and she explained in detail the process and gave me a detailed folder to detailing all the information and process for cataract surgery. She’s very energetic and communicative BTW, her reception desk is excellent in scheduling appointments. Even received call earlier in day that exam might take more time. More

Dr. Young and her staff are friendly, nice and helpful. I had an extensive eye exam and need to have cataracts removed from both eyes. Dr. Young was extremely friendly, caring and very detailed in explaining the process, and she gave me information to read and a video to watch explaining the procedure. She said, if I had any questions write them down to go over with Gina when she calls to go over everything with me before the surgery. I've been a Patient of Stone Oak Ophthalmology and Dr Allison Young for a number of years. I have always been treated with promptness and respect. I am a diabetic and my exam is much more than just checking my vision. Dr. Young is a great surgeon, and I have had cataracts removed and corrective lenses in both eyes. The corrective lenses are one of the best things I've ever done. Stone Oak and Dr Young will be my Ophthalmology center for years to come. More

Dr. Teresa Whitney performed cataract surgery on both my left and right eyes in August 2020, and she did an absolutely AWESOME job! Like many, I was terrified of the procedure, and had deferred it for many years, until I was nearly blind - OK, I was legally blind. With GREAT anxiety, I submitted myself to Dr. Whitney's care, and I emerged from the first surgery absolutely amazed at the results. I was back her table a week later for the other eye, FAR less concerned with both the procedure and the outcome. I am now 20:20 in both eyes, no longer need glasses of any kind, and have for the first in over a decade, had the eyeglass restriction removed from my driver's license! I can honestly say, I'm very sorry that I have but only two eyes, or I'd be a repeat patient. Thank you, Dr. Whitney, for restoring my eyesight!! More

So thankful that I found Dr Young. After going to another doctor for the past 4 years and continuously being told that I was not ready for cataract surgery even though I was no longer able to drive , I felt that another opinion was in order so I went to see Dr Young. This was in December and by the 1st of February both of my cataracts had been removed and I could see again. She is a wonderful doctor and her office staff are excellent.
